How is 2017 for you? - Virgo (Kanya)

The following astrological predictions for 2017 are general based on the Janma Rashi (Moon sign at birth) as per the Indian Vedic System of Astrology (Nirayana Astrology): 

Kanya Rashi natives are idealists and thinkers. They have a depth of knowledge and are liked in a company. They are loved by their siblings and love to take up journeys frequently. They have good friends with whom they share a life long attachment.

PROFESSION: Businessmen and professionals will start reaping the fruits of your hard work and patience from May 2017. Those in service will find the period full of rewards and appreciation. However, the year from January will be positive for employees, particularly, those in the IT sector, teaching field, accountancy, legal field, engineering activities, consultants, scientific community etc. Politicians will get good recognition and support of the masses. They will get support from their subordinates and officials.

FINANCE: Financially, the period will be very sound after mid-September. Litigation in financial matters will get delayed and may not be in your favour.   

INVESTMENTS AND SPECULATIONS: Those venturing into speculative activities like shares and stocks are likely to gain quite satisfactorily. Sudden losses are expected, specially, in and around August, hence, caution is required and temptations avoided at any cost.

HEALTH: In general, your health will be less than normal during most part of the year. Some of you may have some health issues from February; hence, adequate precautions need to be taken. Children’s health issues may keep you worried. 

LOVE LIFE: Those in romantic relationships will find this year a reasonably happy one after January. However, one should not postpone wedding plans beyond August. In general, love life will be smooth for married couples.

FAMILY LIFE: Domestic life will be normal albeit some minor issues. However, some positive development in health can be expected after mid-September. Children will prove their mettle from February. Married couples will be supportive of each other and sort out any issues they may have till January. Health of the spouse will show improvement if he / she is unwell. However, the period from April to June will be favourable. 

MISCELLANEOUS: Students preparing for competitive examinations will find their efforts not give the expected results. They may have to face delays in conduct of examinations or disturbing trends in public life affecting their preparations. Long travel plans should not be postponed beyond August as far as possible. Litigations will continue to get delayed and decided mostly against you till September. Uttara, Hasta and Chitta will fare alike, albeit at different times.

PROPITIATION FOR EVILS: Propitiate Shani by visiting temples regularly. Offer black til to Brahmins and / or to navagrahas. Recite Shani Stotram – 19000 times in 40 days, from beginning of the year. Perform Abhishekam of Lord Shiva at least every month or recite Shiva Ashtottari daily.
